Elevated Community Health Welcomes Dr. Karen Judy as Chief Clinical Officer and Pediatrician in Frisco
Elevated Community Health is thrilled to welcome Dr. Karen Judy, MD, as our new Chief Clinical Officer and Pediatrician. A nationally respected physician with more than 30 years of experience in pediatric care and healthcare leadership, Dr. Judy brings deep clinical expertise, a passion for community-based care, and a steadfast commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
A Lifetime of Pediatric Excellence
Before relocating to Colorado, Dr. Judy practiced in the Chicago area for over 30 years, where she held leadership and academic positions in major healthcare systems, including Northwestern Medical Center and Rush Medical Center. In addition to serving as a trusted pediatrician to hundreds of families, she was a dedicated educator, training medical students and residents, and contributing to pediatric research.
Despite her accomplishments in academic medicine, Dr. Judy’s true passion has always been direct patient care. She has always been focused on patients and is recognized for her work in pediatrics with high-quality outcomes and top-tier patient satisfaction. Her approach is rooted in compassion, communication, and the belief that healthcare should meet families where they are.
Now, having made the move west with her family, Dr. Judy is excited to settle into a new role in Summit County and enjoy the mountain lifestyle. She’s looking forward to the outdoor activities and soaking up the Colorado sunshine.

As Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Judy will lead Elevated’s clinical strategy, champion quality improvement initiatives, and support the integration of innovative, value-based care models that respond to the unique needs of our mountain communities. She will also continue to see pediatric patients at our Frisco clinic, ensuring local families have access to experienced, relationship-based pediatric care.
Committed to Inclusive, Local Healthcare and Supporting Community Needs
Dr. Judy’s appointment marks an important step forward for Elevated Community Health’s commitment to expanding equitable healthcare in rural Colorado. Elevated Community Health has been seeking to fill healthcare gaps in the High Country and has set pediatrics as a top priority in 2026. Elevated Community Health’s new pediatric dental facility will help to fill these gaps, right alongside a direct focus on pediatric medicine with Dr. Judy leading the charge.
As our organization grows to meet increasing demand across Summit, Lake, Park County, and beyond, her leadership will help ensure our clinical standards remain high, our services remain accessible, and our care remains rooted in community.
