Health Insurance Open Enrollment Ends January 15
Health care is expensive. By covering a large portion of medical costs, health insurance makes it easier to receive preventative care and necessary treatment when needed.
The Open Enrollment period, which runs from November 1 through January 15 each year, offers the opportunity to purchase health insurance options through the marketplace outside of qualifying events such as job loss, change in marital status, or a child in the family.
Health Insurance Options
- – 2024 health insurance plans can be purchased through connectforhealthco.com. You can apply for financial assistance directly on this site.
- – The Omni Salud Plan, administered by Connect for Health Colorado, offers health insurance for undocumented individuals living below 150% Federal Poverty Level. *See chart below for Federal Poverty Level chart information.
- – Medicaid and CHP+ are available year-round. Applicants should visit healthfirstcolorado.com to check their eligibility for Medicaid. For help applying, please contact our Medicaid enrollment specialist, Estefania Baray at (970) 528-6781 or your county’s Health and Human Services department.
