Summit Community Care Clinic announcement of leadership change

After a year of dedicated service, our current CEO, Dan Becker, has made the difficult decision to step down from his position due to health concerns

On behalf of the board of directors and staff, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dan for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to our mission. His tireless efforts have been instrumental in providing quality healthcare to our community.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Josh Cogdill as the new CEO of Summit Community Care Clinic. Josh is a resident of Summit County and has served on our board of directors for the past two years.

Josh Cogdill has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in operations and finance. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a unique ability to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.

Josh is excited to transition from for-profit healthcare to non-profit healthcare where patient care takes priority over profits. He is dedicated to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to quality healthcare services.

As a board member, Josh has demonstrated a deep passion for patient care and a keen understanding of the unique healthcare needs of our community. His strong business acumen and strategic vision will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and improve the health and well-being of our residents.

Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Florida and his Master of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. When not at work, Josh enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, and cross-country skiing with his husband.

Josh began his new role on September 23rd, and we are confident that Josh will continue to build upon the strong foundation that Dan has established and lead Summit Community Care Clinic to even greater success.
