Pediatric Primary Care

About Pediatric Primary Care

Pediatric primary care at Elevated Community Health provides accessible, family-centered care for infants, children, and teens across Summit County and the Colorado High Country. Our pediatric team focuses on preventive care, healthy development, and practical guidance for families, offering services such as well-child visits, sick visits, and developmental support. We take time to listen, explain care clearly, and adapt visits for children’s comfort, including sensory needs or anxiety. We welcome families with or without insurance and work to keep costs transparent with no-surprise pricing whenever possible. If you don’t have insurance, we can help you explore affordable options like Elevated Essentials or see if you qualify for Medicare or our Care Card sliding fee discount program, which helps reduce the cost of care.

About Pediatric Primary Care

Primary Care Pediatrics Care that grows with your child

A pediatric visit designed for real life

We know some kids love the doctor’s office and some kids do not. Our team uses a calm, supportive approach that can include slower pacing, simple language, and extra time for questions. If your child feels anxious, we can talk through what to expect, offer comfort breaks, and help you plan so the visit feels more manageable.

Primary care pediatrics can include:

  • Well-child visits and annual checkups
  • Sports, school, and camp physicals
  • Vaccines and routine screenings
  • Same-day sick visits when available (colds, flu symptoms, ear pain, sore throat, stomach bugs)
  • Ongoing care for common childhood concerns, with coordinated referrals when needed
  • Care coordination with our integrated services when appropriate (dental, behavioral health, pharmacy)

Primary Care Pediatrics Frequently Asked Questions

Who we see

We see all kids- newborns, infants, toddlers, kids, teens and young adults.
From first checkups to teen health visits, our pediatric primary care team tailors care to your child’s age, stage, and comfort level.

When to call us

Not sure if your child should be seen today? Call us.
We can help you decide what’s best and talk through next steps.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that newborns have their first pediatric checkup within 3–5 days after birth. As your child grows, they should continue regular pediatric wellness visits, including annual checkups as they get older. Please call our office to schedule well-child visits, annual physicals, or sick visits.

If you are unsure whether your child needs to be seen, our pediatric team can talk through symptoms, help you decide if a same-day appointment is needed, and guide you on the next best steps for your child’s care at every age and stage.

What to bring to the appointment

Help us make your visit smooth:

  • Insurance card (if you have one) and a photo ID
  • Any medications your child takes
  • School or sports forms (if needed)
  • Questions you want to cover, written down is great
What we can do in one visit

Care that covers the basics and beyond
Well-child visits, vaccines and screenings, sports physicals, and same-day sick visits as available. We also help families manage ongoing concerns with clear follow-up plans and coordinated referrals when needed.

Costs and insurance help

Insured or not, you’re welcome here.
We accept most insurances and see uninsured patients. Our team can help you understand costs ahead of time and guide you through insurance questions, so there are no surprises.
If you don’t have insurance no problem- we can help you explore value-based options like Elevated Essentials, or see if you may qualify for Medicare or our Care Card, a sliding fee discount program that helps reduce the cost of care.
